Operational considerations

  • Operations exclusively in daytime VMC/VFR conditions (RAAC 91).
  • Prefer runway 03 for landings and 21 for take-offs, depending on wind and performance.
  • Public road crosses the short final of runway 03 south of the lodge · no overhead power lines.
  • Possible wildlife on the strip — verify before operating.
  • No hangar, chocks or fuel (Avgas/JetA) on site. Plan fuel for the complete return trip.
  • Notify arrival via ATC as applicable. Flight plans and PSA declaration per standard regulations.
This summary is for information only and does not replace official AIP/NOTAM data. The pilot in command is solely responsible for verifying operability, weather conditions and ANAC compliance. Use of the airstrip is subject to prior authorisation by the lodge.
