Three ways to reach Iberá
The Carambola Portal has the easiest access of any gateway to Iberá National Park. Choose the option that best suits your journey.
Arrive at your own pace
Direct, comfortable access. Paved roads all the way to Concepción; the final stretch is easily passable without four-wheel drive.
- Paved road all the way to Concepción del Yaguareté Corá. Then 12 km of gravel in good condition and 8 km of dirt track.
- No four-wheel drive required under normal conditions.
- Last point with 4G signal: National Park Ranger Station at the Carambola Portal.

Daily flights from Buenos Aires to Corrientes and Resistencia. From the airport, we arrange your transfer to the lodge — by road or directly by air.
Aerolíneas Argentinas, Flybondi and JetSmart with daily frequencies from Buenos Aires (AEP/EZE). International guests connect through Buenos Aires Ezeiza (EZE) with onward flights to Corrientes (CNQ) or Resistencia (RES).

- Operations exclusively in daytime VMC/VFR conditions (RAAC 91).
- Prefer runway 03 for landings and 21 for take-offs, depending on wind and performance.
- Public road crosses the short final of runway 03 south of the lodge · no overhead power lines.
- Possible wildlife on the strip — verify before operating.
- No hangar, chocks or fuel (Avgas/JetA) on site. Plan fuel for the complete return trip.
- Notify arrival via ATC as applicable. Flight plans and PSA declaration per standard regulations.

How to Get to El Tránsito Nature Luxury Lodge — Iberá, Argentina
El Tránsito is located at the Carambola Portal of Iberá National Park, Corrientes, Argentina (28°25′S, 57°41′W). There are three ways to arrive: by road, by commercial flight with a transfer, or by private aircraft landing directly on the property.
By road: 190 km from Corrientes (~2:45 h), 215 km from Resistencia (~3:00 h), 330 km from Posadas (~3:30 h), 600 km from Paraná (~6:30 h) and 950 km from Buenos Aires (~10 h). The road is paved all the way to Concepción del Yaguareté Corá; the final 20 km are unpaved — 12 km of well-maintained gravel and 8 km of dirt track — passable in any standard vehicle under normal conditions, no four-wheel drive required. El Tránsito guests get a 15% discount on AVIS/Budget car hire in Corrientes, Resistencia, Posadas and Iguazú.
By commercial flight: daily flights from Buenos Aires (AEP/EZE) to Corrientes (CNQ, 190 km) or Resistencia (RES, 215 km); international guests typically connect through Buenos Aires Ezeiza. The lodge arranges a private road transfer or a scenic air transfer (Cessna 182/206, ~45 minutes) from either airport.
By private aircraft: El Tránsito operates its own ANAC-registered airstrip, LAD 3240 — grass, runway 03/21, 820 m long, 15 m wide, CTAF 123.5 MHz, daytime VMC/VFR operations only (RAAC 91), no night operations. There is no restriction on the flight's origin: any aircraft the pilot in command judges capable of operating there, with fuel autonomy for the return trip, may land subject to the lodge's prior authorisation. The lodge has no hangar, fuel or chocks on site — pilots must plan fuel for the full round trip or route through Corrientes or Resistencia airports (nearest fuel, 82 nm away). Verifying weather, performance and regulatory compliance is the pilot's or operator's sole responsibility.
